Muckin' About
Photoshop CS4 has a great new Photomerge command. Most of the work of putting the montage below together was done automatically.
And I struck upon a moderately genius way to organize all of our digital media cards at work:

I have done some by hand with www.gimp.org and it is a pain.

I like how PS bends the pictures to knock down distortion, I have only tried pasting horizontally to avoid it. Does PS play with the exposure too?
PS does have an auto feature to compensate for exposure & vignetting.
