Norfolk Cyclist Killed by Car

From the Pilot-

A cyclist who was struck by a car a week ago has died of his injuries, police said Sunday.

Police identified the cyclist as Kevin L. Bragg, 26, of the 400 block of Stockton Road.

The accident happened at about 8:30 a.m. on April 27, in the 1700 block of East Little Creek Road.

Bragg was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries. He was pronounced dead at the hospital just before 11 p.m. Saturday, said Officer Chris Amos, a police spokesman.

The commonwealth’s attorney will decide whether to press charges against the driver, Amos said.

I read this also and was upset to not read anything about charges placed on driver. It seems when there are not others to advocate (family out of town perhaps) nothing is done. I guess what is even more upsetting is that most in the cycling community are unaware of it.
